Here's part of my brand new range of bags for Autumn/Winter 2010. Each one is one of a kind and handmade from recycled fabrics, the finest fabrics and vintage findings.
There's 5 of them available now at my etsy store with another 5 to come!
Yeahhhh! My Sunny Skegness Clutch Bag made it to the front page of Etsy yesterday! It always gives me a boost! Thanks to Laura Glass Art Quilts for selecting my work for her lovely Treasury.
I've not got on the front page of Etsy for I don't know how long, but now I've had 3 features in just over a week! I'm a very happy bunny now! Thanks to the lovely Emma Lamb for choosing me in her gorgeous treasury!
Yeah! Feeling rather chuffed as my Mavis and Morris purse was featured on the front page of Etsy today. Thanks ever so much to Factorygirlashli for choosing it as part of her lovely Treasury!
The thought of owning these two gorgeous dresses from CathKidston is literally the only thing keeping me going at the moment. Just a few more sales and the red ones mine!! Or at least that's what I tell myself, chances are I'll wait for it to go into the sale and then be bitterly disappointed when its sells out. How ever i do truly believe my life would be better for owning it! The pumps and the other dress wouldn't go a miss either.
Oh!!! its literally been ages since I've done any of this blogging business. It has been a busy old time to say the least, so now I'm an invalid ( I put my back out, switching on the oven last week) I think I might actually have a bit of time to catch up. Here's a few of my new spring range shoulder bags, I rather like them myself and might actually make one for me! At least when I'm able to do something more than sit on my arse, catching up with blog posts.
I've just realised, I've not mentioned Design Circus on my blog yet! So I'd better do just that!
Design Circus is a pop up shop, just off Tudor square in West Bridgford, Nottingham. It was set up and is run by a group of very talented designers from Nottingham to sell their wares.
After opening on October 22nd 2009, the shop was due to close on Christmas eve, but is still going strong now, and hopefully will remain open till at least the end of May 2010.
Design circus is open everyday except Mondays, so if you get the chance do stop by and Have a look at the fantastic selection of, handmade and fair trade goodies on offer.
Hello! I did my first craft fair at the weekend, Apples and Pears and Crafty Wares At the Arts Organisation, Nottingham. There was some lovely work there! I had a very busy week beforehand trying to get my new designs together for the fair. These pics , taken at the fair, feature a selection of some of my new bits. Anyway it was a nice day out and I met some lovely people too.
Hello! I've just finished a brand new batch of coin purses, there are 15 designs to choose from with more to come. I'll be uploading the new purses onto etsy very shortly.
A very belated Happy New Year! Despite my best intentions it seems to have taken me an awful long time, to get round to updating my blog. What a surprise! Anyway before I start going on about new designs and all that business, I thought I'd catch up with craft show news and pictures from December. Very little sleep was had that month, one Craft show after the next, sales were good at Design Circus too, so it was sew, sew, sew! As I've also not had chance to update my Etsy store with new designs, the following pics will give you a little taste of things to come.
These pics were taken at the Denby Food and Gift fair and The Don't Panic, Christmas Gift Bazare at the Quad centre in Derby. Both were very good shows and gave me chance to showcase my new designs, which mostly sold. Hoorahhh!
